In a landmark development for The Gambia's banking sector, Isatou Jawara, Managing Director of Agib Bank, has been unanimously elected Vice President 2 of the West African Bankers Association (WABA).
This historic appointment marks the first time a Gambian has held such a senior position within the association, which represents bankers across 15 West African countries.
Mrs. Jawara's appointment reflects her outstanding leadership and the growing recognition of The Gambia's banking sector on the regional stage.
